Sexual preference is genetic right? In the far distant future that is Eve, I presume that they've perfected genetic engineering. Which is why there are none.

Sexual preference is NOT genetic; nor has anything to do with DNA. There is no *** gene. A *** person is not "born that way". They choose it. It's not forced on them like a disease at birth. Children have no concept of sexuality until they reach puberty. Until that time they have no preference regarding their gender object of desire.
Going back to the OP, EVE is a game that has little bearing on real life. There are elements within the game that must relate to aspects of our daily lives that we can relate to in order to give the game a sense of realism, but ultimately it's just a game. In other words, whether your ***, bisexual or a rabid horse humper nobody really cares. Stop forcing this issue on others just because you want attention from it. There's a reason the word *** is blocked; it's because we shouldn't have to discuss it on these forums.

Thats the internet community for you. Sadly MMO's (even Eve) are dominated by young males, who overwhelmingly feel the need to shout about how straight/white/normal they are, and take any statement of difference as a direct challenge to their own beliefs.
Actually you're wrong. The internet is a great place for being anonymous (no pun intended there regarding recent Fox News stories). What gets most people is that minority groups create this victim status for themselves which make others feel guilty and apologetic around them. That's where the minority groups' self consciousness arises from. If they'd have more courage and say; "To hell with it, I'm different regardless of what you think" then I could live with that and respect them. It's when they come across as victims of society with a "Woe is me, I can't help myself" attitude that I take offence.
That's my biggest gripe with *** people to be honest. I don't really care about their sexuality. I care when they try and make me feel guilty for not caring about it; like the OP did, hence why I replied somewhat vehemently earlier.
